Elephantnoze is more than a name. It represents our fascination with the extraordinary sensitivity of the sense of smell.
The elephant’s trunk is one of nature’s remarkable tools for sensing and discovering its surroundings. In the same spirit, Elephantnoze is about exploring fragrance beyond the obvious—discovering depth, character, memory, and emotion through scent.
Oil selection was one of the most challenging parts of our journey. We
tested and evaluated many oils, rejecting those that did not meet our
standards for purity and character. After extensive trials, we finally
chose that met the quality we were looking for.
We experimented with different oil concentrations to find the right balance. Higher concentrations offered greater longevity but often felt heavier and reduced projection, while lower concentrations projected well but faded sooner.
Through extensive testing, we refined our formula to achieve a thoughtful balance of projection, longevity, and comfortable wear—creating fragrances that feel expressive and last without unnecessary heaviness.
Just like our oils, choosing the right ethanol took extensive testing. We tried different options and carefully evaluated their purity and performance. Many were rejected because they contained unnecessary additives or did not meet our standards.
We ultimately chose 99.9% perfumery-grade ethanol with no unnecessary additives, allowing the fragrance to remain as clean and true to its intended character as possible
We believe fragrance should remain as pure as the composition intended. Our perfumes contain . Each composition is carefully formulated and macerated to develop naturally
Once the composition is prepared, we don't rush it. Our perfumes are produced in limited batches and carefully macerated for approximately 40 days. During this period, the oil and alcohol composition is given time to settle and develop.
It is a patient process—and that patience is part of what makes Elephantnoze.
